King 👑 is the problem of this country 😔
As a younger Thai, i am deeply exhausted and hopeless for this country.
the interest rate arbitrage described here for Thailand is the same scheme that caused the market fluctuations recently with the Japanese interest rate arbitrage.
Umm, at 13:48, am I dreaming or China is the largest economy in Asia, followed by Japan, India, South Korea, and Indonesia.
13:45 Thailand is not the 4th largest economy in Asia, you forgot India, Republic of Korea…etc
Interesting you didn't talk about Thailand demographics. They have a very low fertility rate for a developing economy.
Thailand would have great economy if the politicians stop cheating for personal gains
Pleasee, we couldn't ol. For example the severe limitation mentioned can be bypass as long as you talk to the right people, there's a lot of startup company/business from china's fund that dress itself as a "Local" company by let the local investor to hold 51% of it share, the political is a joke as long as they (the politician ) want they can just cancel the election result. Local business is heavily dominate by a handful of company and there's no such thing like Antitrust law (we did have the law but apparently it only applied to small business). We have advantage to others in the region but the corruption will make sure we go nowhere.
China is working hard in Tialand
Wrong data at 13:45, look it up on google
13:45 Isn't India part of Asia?
As long as it's under the current government. It ain't
Fast internet? You must be joking 🤣
Thailand has all the resources and capabilities to expand and improve but the one thing we never have is unity.
This video is a good view of thinking about Thailand's economic situation. However, there's one major problem which is corruption in Thailand which is prob. the highest in the world and the current government doesn't do anything about Chinese people opening businesses to race with Thai people. Unless Thailand fixes this problem there won't be any economic growth. Fyi Moving Forward Party was going to deal with this but unluckily they couldn't become government.
Mighty strange that you say you drink LMNT everyday and yet they only ship to the US & Canada. I smell major BS.
You haven't a clue about Thailand….maybe about Thai boy bars….but clueless the rest.
4th richest country in Southeast Asia after Singapore, Brunei and Malaysia.
In Thailand I like pisanulok the most it has lots of landmarks
There once was a plan to dig a canal through that little slither of land there. So ships coming from the Andaman Sea can pass straight into the Gulf of Thailand, and not make a detour to the Malacca Strait. And you know, from there it's quite a shorter distance to Vietnam, Phillipines, China, Taiwan, Korea, Japan…
Suffice to say, that meant big fat bribes for our politicians from countries like Malaysia and Singapore to NOT do that.
EE, you forgot the rapidly aging population as a factor!!!
I am from thailand
A Thai citizen: *Sigh*
With the current government? Yeah in about 300 years
