La FINE dell’industria automobilistica statunitense – I produttori in GUERRA con Trump dopo i nuo…

The END of US Auto Industry – Manufacturers in WAR with Trump After New Tariff.
Explore the global fallout from U.S. President Donald Trump’s 25% tariff on imported cars and auto parts, announced on March 26, 2025, and effective April 3, 2025. It dives into the reactions of seven major auto-exporting nations—Mexico, Canada, Japan, South Korea, Germany, France, and China—detailing their economic concerns, diplomatic strategies, and potential retaliatory measures. The script paints a vivid picture of disrupted supply chains, threatened jobs, and rising tensions in international trade. It wraps up with an in-depth look at the tariff’s impact on the electric vehicle (EV) sector and traditional gas-powered cars, weighing the short-term U.S. manufacturing boost against long-term costs like higher prices, strained alliances, and a stalled green transition. Engaging and conversational, this script is perfect for a video explainer breaking down a complex trade policy shakeup.

  1. I'm Canadian and support Mr Trump 💯 because he is the only the one can save the planet Mr Trump fights for America. Canadians please wake up your government is a big mafia.and all corrupt .

  2. I don't give two shits about the auto industry (specially the US auto industry), seeing how they made friends with the US-caused military dictatorship on Brazil in order to push automobiles here, killing rails and forcing the country into making a huge amount of car infrastructure that to this causes problems (see the history of the Transamazônica).
But if it's them that will take down trump, so be it.
Also, that argument on pro-electric as if it's green it's a pile of horsecrap. The electrical energy that powers EVs comes from the power grid. If all cars today were turned into EVs, all difficulties of EVs solved (imagine nearly instant charging, batteries that last as long as car does on a full tank, etc), the energy load of the power grid would increase by about the same offset of the lack of use of fuel (save the differences in efficiency). If that energy comes from the oil that now isn't consumed on fuel (and thus, became cheaper because there is no demand), guess what? Carbon emissions just shifted places.

  3. All this commotion about international trade is music to putin’s ears. The russian agent is doing well for the puppet master. The goal is to weaken Ukrainian supporters and have them focus on their own problems. This might give rus a uninterrupted run.

  4. World should shift their market to China, ASEAN, Japan, East Asia and India. That is 50% of world population or around 3.5b people. 40% middle class with buying power should consume whatever products coming out of EU and Canada. Make US unimportat and buy none of their products.

  5. The western alliance plus Canada, korea and japan were clapping when US imposed 100% tariffs on chinese EVs. Canada immediately complied. European countries decided to follow suit by imposing 25 to 35% tarrifs on Chinese built EVs.
China called for multi laterism but this fell on deaf ears, deliberately turned deaf to stifle China.
Looks like now the europeans are turning to China for trade and cooperation. This is peak hypocrisy playing out. Hope soon they will learn the chinese phrase of old "don't do unto others what you do not want them done unto you."
    Europeans are just shameless.

  6. In Canada American cars fit the roads but very few can be seen. Mostly Japanese, German and Korean cars. Only thing American you see are those large pick up trucks and we know who drives those. B

  7. This is the worst i have ever seen say goood bye to our jobs or country lost for ever the broken States of America you are no longer a freind of Free press the truth is you are Traitors shame on you.

  8. Americans don't care about fuel consumption because they pay for a gallon what we have to pay for a liter here in the Netherlands. Don't get me wrong, I would love to own an American car, but a classic from the fifties or sixties. They were beautiful.

  9. US leadership use to be superior,
    now it’s rather inferior.

With Donald Trump at the wheel,
    everyone has to heel,
while he and his thugs steal,
    unopposed, from whoever they feel.

    Democracy and values are gone,
    while Trump screws everyone,
Obey me “or else” is the code,
Puts the world in a bad mode.

What goes up must come down,
being the dollar, the euro or the Danish crown.
    For Tarif walls nobody asks,
Will good US citizens rise to the task,
sadly, as European, I have to ask.

The land of the free it used to be,
    Respected, admired across the sea.
Nepotism and chaos are now powers at be,
USA in ruins, it’s sad to see.

  10. Only Donald is dumb enough to believe that only America builds cars? I think his narcissistic behavior, enables him of any real intelligent thought! And better then that! Tesla is also tanking🤣🤣

  11. Trump is not fit to be the President of USA. He will realise his mistake when his countrymen will be suffering because of his crazy idea of imposing Tarriffs.

  12. All the countries should just close all of their factories in the US and trade with themselves.
WE'LL SEE HOW THE US LIKES ALL THOSE LAYOFFS.

  13. Not about to replace our three MINI Coopers (‘15 JCW Roadster, ‘15 Highgate Cabriolet, ‘14 JCW Clubman) with US built oversized, overweight, underpowered. Can’t afford nor do we want an EV due to slow charging and lack of charging infrastructure.
