So we can see what would happen if China did not exist or if China is defeated, though unlikely, in future. If China is defeated in a war by US, US won't need allies and partners anymore, the US will make all countries become their slaves.
The reason why these countries got into trade agreements with USA was not because they are trustworthy but because of its market. It’s the same with China now. This is about business and India is not taking fast and agile decisions in working with China.
