Japan is not an ally of the US, it is a vassal, and the US bases are an occupation force with no interest in "stability." They are there not to defend Japan but to threaten China.
The Japanese are polite people with common sense. The US currency will lose it's value in time due to the world preferring to deal with each other in regional and other currencies. As the world trades less with and increasingly isolationist USA, the demand for dollars will fall and thus it's value. Why hold a depreciating asset?
🧡 US / America calls it "Liberation" instead of "Invasion". That was what US call it in Iraq, Afghanistan, Libya, Syria, Yemen, Somalia and the list goes on… Why the double standard? Confused… Please enlighten. Genuine question…

They see what everyone else ate seeing. That the US are bacoming an unstable cou try that wlwct a criminal bully as president and a non working congress. Also the corrupt High justices dont make thing better. Every country who owns US bonds can one day read on X or truth social that they refuse to pay intrest and dept.
US started to increase its weaponization of the dolar and assets in their economies since the russian special military operation started. countries took notice and started to take steps to prevent to be next on the chopping block because of whatever reason the US will say to turn the weapon next to them
At last the modern Japanese SAMURAI had emerged…Japan had reduced a very big amount of their US treasury holdings…to protect their economy frm falling apart due to the sinking of the dollar value! 🫡🫡👍👍👍🇯🇵🇯🇵
As an American I seen since 2020 the 30 yr treasury dropped about 50-60% this explains faith in thr u.s dollar and high rates destroying old bond prices. Why would anyone want to lend if your borrower tries printing their way out and still tax you for the intrest.
Japan knows better and faster than any countries in this world that under president trump the American economy will fall worst than before the second world war so they have to sell them before others will follow
Japan holds US debt because it ran trade surpluses and needs somewhere to park all those dollar assets. If they couldn’t hold USdebt they would have to run much smaller export surpluses as there would be nowhere to put all those surpluses.

Do you think Japan will continue to reduce their U.S treasury holdings?
Japan's Tarrifs Negotiating Team returned from the first round of talks with Trump, with this conclusion: We are dealing with an "extortionist".

Looks to me that usa is extorting Japan to invest in USA bonds maybe they wrote that in the constitution America wrote for Japan
No, the US has it's military bases all over Japan because Japan lost WWII, remember?
Japan should be US 51st state.

don't you see any correlation with the economic turmoil in the US with the liquidation of the bonds?

Buy German and EU Bonds. Better Investment.
This is a very dumb question.
Your chart is wrong. The U.K holds, almost the same amount as China, in U.S treasuries
Only 25% ??? 2:02 Switzerland has 34% (Own 300 billion of US debt, 884 billion of GDP)
They did same thing in late eighties. They are making Americans goods cheaper and their goods more expensive. This how you avoid tariffs.
With the US dollar dropping, it makes no sense to hold a depreciating asset. In one month alone the USD dropped from 152 to 142 yen
They need dollars. There is a dollar shortage that no one is talking about. That's all this is.
I like how the vid slowly spelled out "Regional Stability". Wink Wink, we got it.
Japan is selling all its US Debt because nobody can trust the USA anymore
U s Trump is making money for himself
It doesn't manner where America is reducing his dollar debet treasury bond
All are day by day loosing
His balance sheet lower and lower once a America will become just like pakistan due to trump policy
Dollar only paper currency
No one insist on dollar
How much gold reserve in America not declare yet
Alun musk is in trouble
Alon musk should be president of america the great minded pupil in world
Why is that people said it was China?
The Japanese government officials have denying the rumors…..whatever this video says is propaganda and misinformation
Japan is helping USA by the selloff of American's Treasury Debt.
The US is not creatin stability in South China , it is a warmonger .
Because Donald Trump will default on the debt
US destroyed Japans economy,
Smart move
USD has lost 9% of its value this year, Japan realises that too.

As an Australian and supposed ally of the U.S. i can't believe how poorly we have been treated.
Just shifting back and forth. You guys are all wrong. Big boys game

U.S. Treasuries are going to get reduced in Quality. They will sell at a discount.
you are missing canada which is one of the largest holders of US treasuries
the list of Countries is incorrect but Japan has always had the largest amount of treasuries ,
1. Japan 1.1 tri 2. China 749 billion 3 UK 690.2 billion 4 Luxembourg 373.5 billion n 5 Canada 328.7 billion
America is about to do what no-one else could – bring China and Japan together.

Isn’t it obvious? Value of the buck is crashing
Trump is the smartest man in the world. No one knows more about economics than Trump does. How do I know this? Just ask him!
1:15 This chart is missing the United Kingdom. They own almost as much as China.
Much of what Luxembourg and the Cayman Islands holds is on behalf of Chinese state-owned entities.
embracing the tRumpp-monkey will be the demise of America !

Japan….a US partner??? more like subservient lab dog where uncle sam had a stick up the Jap's ass to make sure compliance.
No one believes in the stability of US treasuries or anything financial under the current regime 😂😂😂😂.
usd will loose value that Trump demand so it make sense to buy gold
Because the U.S is under communist rule
