California pays $83,000,000,000 more to the federal government than it takes in, meanwhile the darling of the GOP, Texas, takes $71,000,000,000 more from the federal government than it gives – most red states are welfare queens. CA has been a blue state for 2 decades and TX has been a red state for 3, perhaps its time for TX to become a blue state as well.
