  1. But if its been sold internally, thats means us, as Canadian. Why wouldn't they sell it to us cheaper. Makes goos sense. We pay enough. Whats a matter with you. You want to charge us more. The excesse should be sold to open markets. Take care of home First.

  2. Canada is cooked if you guys don’t vote him in. As an American, it’s sad to see what Trudeau has done, but he’s also given the Americans every opportunity to win lol.

  3. The Germans appreciate the thought. But the non retar…, or sane Germans much prefer trade with Russia. It’s the only possibility to elevate the economy and sink the cost of energy.

  4. Pierre, your momentum is slowing, and Carney is gaining ground fast. He’s positioning himself as the bridge between Canada and the U.S., and you’re being left behind thumping your chest . Right now, Canadians are terrified of Trump. They want a leader who will fight for Canada, yes, but more importantly, they want someone who can handle trump, not go head-to-head with him.

Carney is increasingly looking like the level headed diplomat who can do that. He comes off as someone who can work with Trump, maybe even manipulate him, and definitely outsmart him. You, on the other hand, are starting to sound like you’ll be another adversary, and we’ve seen how well that turned out with Trudeau. The truth is, you can’t win against a narcissistic egomaniac by confronting him directly, he’ll crush you, and us.

Mocking Trump when he calls you “not a MAGA guy” or constantly chanting “never will we be the 51st state” is not doing you any favours and is definitely not winning over the broader public. We get it, we’re never going to be the 51st state. We need to be firm on that. Same page. But taking public jabs at Trump is a losing strategy. Ford can do that. He’s a premier. But you’re Prime Minister. You’re going to be the leader of the country. You need to elevate your game. Lose the checkers board the game is chess now.

The landscape has shifted. Read the room. The carbon tax is yesterday’s news, everyone’s walking it back now anyway. People are afraid of an invasion, things have escalated quickly. Get serious. One liners and jokes are not cutting it. What matters is showing Canadians you’ve got the strategic mind, patience, and skill to diffuse this intricate bomb without blowing us all up. You need to demonstrate that you can massage this situation with trump. That you can build a relationship that changes the present course. Stop pounding your chest and start tapping the temple. You were on the right track, but now you’re slipping. You’re the best hope to save this country, but only if you adapt. Another Liberal government would be a disaster, and a weak Conservative minority would be no better. Canadians know that if trump doesn’t like the leader, he punishes the country. You need to demonstrate that you’re not going to be Trudeau 2.0 when it comes to the chilled relationship. You need to demonstrate that you can handle him and right now you’re not.

  5. Okay two key things here. We in the UK don’t want to be paying $13 for gas and shipping gas internally is a damn site cheaper than over oceans.

Other than that solid argument that I agree with

  6. I hate to say it but he is 1,000% correct. We in the United States are making a killing on selling natural gas to them. It's creating alot of jobs for us and tax revenue. The best part is that Europe is dependent on us for this so it gives us a lot of additional leverage on them.

  7. So basically following trump’s plan but in Canada ahhhh got it; hypocritical, but you know it’s just business lol . advocating for more money for your citizens. Same as trump.
