LIVE: Donald Trump reveals economic plan in Washington

Donald Trump will talk about his economic plans in a speech to the Detroit Economic Club, making another appearance in Michigan, a key state in the election.

Trump did not intend to “overthrow the constitution” during the Capitol riot and he may have prevented Russia invading Ukraine, Boris Johnson has said.

In an interview with Times Radio, the former prime minister said it was “credible” to claim that President Putin would not have invaded Ukraine had Trump been president in 2022. The former president has repeatedly insisted the Russia-Ukraine war would not have happened had he been in the White House.

Johnson, speaking to Times Radio’s Stig Abell before the release of his memoir Unleashed, said the attack on the Capitol, fuelled by Trump’s attempt to overturn the result of the 2020 election, did not put him beyond the pale.

    For all of you who watched this and are saying that he said nothing about helping us. Please realize that he did…he did talk about how he is going to help us. He just didn't say what YOU wanted to hear. Realize that there is no magic wand and this country is a business. The business needs to run smoothly before we as citizens can feel any relief. By avoiding HUGE million and billion dollar industries from leaving America and threatening tarrifs on other countries it WILL help us keep the flow of economy running and THAT is the only thing that can help us now. Stop leading with emotion and start free thinking. Get your news from people who aren't paid to feed it to you…watch your opinion change. My eyes are open I can Only hope more people wake up.

    I may not agree with everything in regards to trump but I appreciate his transparency tremendously. We aren't dumb Americans we deserve an open free speech platform for discussion. We are capable of discerning information.

    Trump economy: Trump and his friends created the best economic plan for a planned bankruptcy. Stop believing he is an economist, because he is not. Stop believing that his model was good, because it wasn't. Probably many thought it was good because suddenly they had no need to pay taxes. But, No tax collection and balancing the deficit with debt burden in trillions of dollars is the economic model of a reckless thief.

    Ashton Forbes MH370 is my favorite YouTuber/honest reporter on, “ hidden government batteries “. I hope he will be willing to call Trump out on his blatant nonsense about batteries and not having the stones to admit his personal knowledge having been briefed as President about batteries that are light, don’t blow up and that could allow us to become truly energy independent and get away from fossil fuel. We all know Elon Musk is on board with Donald dystopian plan of keeping us stuck on fossil fuels and using the Israeli military to carpet bomb the Middle East from Gaza to Turkey to, “ take the oil” I am hoping Ashton Forbes can stay true to his honest reporting and call Jabba out for his crazy evil plans.     I did a fact check on the Former President Trump statement about man of the year award and it was false the other fact check was on his statement about saving Detroit auto industry it was false.     Im confused. In one sentence he says hes going to implement tariffs on all Chinese vehicles entering the US. In the next sentence he said he opposed a tarif on Chinese imports while in office.

    Currently, if you are a drug dealer and someone dies from the product you sold and others down the line and up the line, you and the rest ARE responsible and can be charged with murder. So yes you are right and these people need to be reminded of that.
