Stephen Nagy, professor at International Christian University’s Department of Politics and International Studies, discusses the impact of Japan’s vote results and the upcoming US presidential election on the allies’ foreign policies as they seek to counter Beijing’s growing influence.

Inside China Business – Now it's oil, China BRICS and OPEC build new trading system locking out US suppliers and banks
Inside China Business – The BRICS trading system is already wiping out US farmers
Everyone in the region including the conglomerate heads of Japan say it’s a lost cause and it’s foolish to rely on the Americans however Japan does not have the resources to go against both China and Russia in a worst case scenario. You go speech with the Americans and Japanese business community behind close doors, they will say the moment China lands on Taiwan and Japan will be cute off from the rest of Asia. From the north it’s Russia from the west is north Korea and from the south is China. Only place where Japan can receive reinforcement is across the Pacific. America is just a short term leverage, Japan will not flip the table on China, America is a tool and the moment American is not useful anymore the Japanese will go to China for negotiation and concessions.
Japan is a one party nation that obeys whatever USA says. Japan has suffered since the plaza accords.
This is the problem with democracies. They can change on an election. That's where totalitarian regimes have an advantage. 😢
Donald Trump has grown increasingly unhinged in the final weeks heading into Election Day. Those who know Trump best are warning voters that he is dangerously unfit to lead. Trump has been clear he wants to rule as an authoritarian, praising dictators including even Adolf Hitler, and threatening to unleash the U.S. military on American citizens, who he refers to as ‘the enemy within.’
This is what most American don’t realised, It does not take a modern force to win wars but it does take a modern military to win limited and specific objectives and battles. It was not a modern force that push American out of Vietnam and North Korea, it was not a modern force that pushed the American back KMT out of China, it was not a modern force that pushed Nazi germany out of Russia and out of France and Africa. It was pure industrial output and logistical constraint. When the American landed in Africa they where a rookie army, when Russia push Nazi germany they where not using tank that where design to last for over 6 months, despite the KMT reserving there most modern American weapons to fight the red army instead of using it against the Japanese they where defeated by Chinese villager armed with AK47 and other capture Japanese rifles, America was push out of north Korea by a army with little to no nazy or airforce, America was pushed out of Vietnam by local villagers playing hide and seek and playing the game catch the little American using hunting traps and poison.
Japan, a small archipelago nation with limited natural resources, faces the challenges of a rapidly aging and declining population. It's realistic for their government to recognize that dependence on expensive resources and products from the USA could be detrimental to their economy and future.
The USA's political, racial, and social fragmentation impedes their continued progress and dominance of the world’s economy and hegemony.
Hopefully, the Opposition will be thinking more about economics than geopolitics and being helm-held by the US.
US and China have been best friends forever.
1970s. US and China secret meeting.
It continues even now.
No need to fear China.
The US occupied Japan after WWII. They never left.
would have been better to have a Japanese expert talk
CARRY A BIG STICK BUT TALK SOFTLY !!!
All parties in Japan are right wing and anti China. Even Japan's so called communist party hates CCP.
The commentator seems accusing China engaging of sharing civilian technology with military technology as if other countries not doing the same and the two technology domains are totally separate.
🇯🇵❌🇯🇵❌
Whoever is acceptable to the US will always rule Japan.
Japan exports to survive; without the USA alliance, rules based international order, and bolstering its Navy and Air Force it will suffer in the future. Japanese people need to understand this.
It cannot be a secret that China is preparing for war.
It’s funny the analyst said China economy depends on Japan. A 16T market with global supply chain depend a on $4T crumbling economy lol
