Oggi vi porto dentro la baraccopoli di Tondo dove per sopravvivere si mangiano gli scarti dei più ricchi.

I remembered one of my uncles getting mad at me if I did not finish my food when I was 5 or 6 years old. When I grew up I understood that there is people going hungry that do not have food to eat. I learned that it is disrespectful to throw away food. We should just eat what we will eat and finish it and not over eat. It is sad to see things like this.

Actually the total food quantity has been enough to meet all demands of the world since 1980s, but why the hungers still remain in many places on Earth? That because food is abundant in developed countries and based on how they use food. An American meal is too much compared to a person's daily nutritional needs and we waste too much natural sources (especially water) to produce foods (most for cattles and poultry). I also mention about the aesthetic needs of consumers when buying foods, there're so much wasted food which is consided substandard. We have enough to save all hungers in the world but it depends on many factors: effective allocation and transportation, diplomacy, transparent reports, anti corruption,… But that stage was soon over, now we're having to face scared natural sources which threats global food security, once again.
