Canadian Leaders FUME as Trump Scores STUNNING ECONOMIC SUCCESS with New Tariffs

Canadian Leaders fume as President Donald Trump scores stunning success with tariffs after companies like Hyundai, Softbank, and Taiwan Semiconductor announce trillions of investment into the US Economy while Ontatio Premier Doug Ford and Liberal Party Prime Minister Mark Carney melt down over Trump’s recent announcement of 25% tariffs on automobile production starting on “Liberation Day” April 2nd. However, as Canada and the European Union melts down over these tariffs, the behavior of companies in the UAE, Saudia Arabia, Japan, Taiwan, and Korea seems to suggest an alternative solution — why don’t these angry Canadians just invest in the US or drop their own reciprocal or retaliatory tariffs?

  1. This was the only way. If you send money to Canada and Mexico in an effort to get them to fix their part of the border,it would get wasted/stolen in typical government fashion. You threaten to take money though, and as you see, the wheels start turning. Obviously they won't like it,but Trumps job is not for everyone to like him, its to Make America Great Again. That's why we elected him

  2. As these new jobs are created, Amercan families have more money to spend on products and services; thereby, making the US market even more valuable as a consumer market in which to sell your products.

  3. Eastern Canada buddy. Alberta, and I presume Saskatchewan definitely don’t feel they speak for us. We didn’t vote the last ten years of misery. And if the east votes liberals in again I bet 80% chance Alberta leaves then shortly after Saskatchewan. Don’t lump us in with that woke eastern globalists. We don’t have any affect on federal votes.

  4. America , we arent perfect , but its ok. its ok to demand they pull thier weight when we have given so much.

the same nations that point fingers at us , curse us, make fun of us , call us fools.. all while expecting our billions of dollars in subsidies , economic aid and lopsided trade deals.

the same nations come who neglect their own militaries , calling themselves enlightened and progressive (despite being the nations that screwed over the world in the first place)

but guess who comes knocking and demanding we handle the bullies? and then call us A-holes for bombing the A-holes?

tired of being the world police AND piggy bank

  5. If American tariffs do nothing but “raise taxes on Americans”, as we’ve heard so many times from the media,,, then explain why Canada’s response is to raise taxes on THEIR OWN people.. that entire argument makes no sense at all. I agree, these tariffs are doing. What they are designed to do, builde economic strength and independence, and bring border strength.

  6. I find Canadian politicians hilarious, so worried about Americans. lol Yet, they have no problem flooding our borders with fentanyl or terrorists and imposing tariffs. They are so obsessed with Trump none of them are addressing their own issues. The issues which Canadians SHOULD be concerned about. Canadians have voted for the same type of government for the last 30 years but they want to blame the U.S. for their current economic problems? They violated the trade agreement but want to play victim? Canada and the EU are the only countries throwing a temper tantrum. The rest of the world is acting like adults.

  7. I will say this, for tech companies, places like japan, taiwan, singapore, ect, you have to build plants there to sell chips in their countries. Also, labot is NOT CHEAPER, in any of those countries. Neither is the utilities on those factories. What is, the minimal taxes charged, zero tariffs, and the credits in some cases free cost to build the plants. In the USA, you pay for everything and are taxed on everything. So making stuff in the usa, with no tariffs, makes us lose jobs. Look at timber, we cut down trees, put on a ship, send to china, have them milled into 2x4s, and ship back to usa to sell at home depot, how is that cheaper?
